Program Description:

This course is designed for individuals who would like to review business law issues that are important for accountants. We will review wage and hour laws, discrimination issues, American’s with Disabilities Act Issues (Including access to websites), Family Medical Leave Act Issues, privacy issues, social media issues, bring your own device issues, hiring issues, background check issues, and other legal issues accountants should be aware of. NOTE: This class does not provide legal advice, please consult an attorney for specific legal issues.

This course has been updated for 2026 to include recent changes to employment laws and regulations.
