CPE Credit: 2 hours

This course will review the basics of the financial statements, the balance sheet, the income statement, and the statement of cash flows. We will discuss several of the accounting principles necessary for the preparation and analysis of the financial statements. We will discuss the various financial statement ratios and analysis including horizontal and vertical analysis of the different financial statements. We will discuss obtaining and using benchmarks for financial statement ratio analysis. Examples will be provided.
