Program Description:

This course provides an in-depth overview of audit quality management systems in accordance with AICPA’s Statement on Quality Management Standards (SQMS 1 & 2), PCAOB quality control standards, and international guidance. Participants will explore how firms design, implement, and monitor quality management systems that address governance, ethics, engagement performance, risk assessment, and monitoring activities. The course also highlights emerging risks to audit quality, including technological change, resource constraints, and regulatory developments. Practical tools and examples will be used to illustrate how firms can strengthen their audit quality management frameworks and documentation.
